Dr. I. Kalafi . Dr. S.A. Tavalaiizadeh
This research has been done in order to evaluate personality traits of those fathers who have, more than 6 children in rural areas. Before starting this research, the basic assumption was that these persons probably have special personality, traits, so we considered 2 separate groups of men in the village areas of the city of Fassa .
All of the men were laborers or farmers. Of these groups, one group of men had at least 6 children, (so, called high children fathers), and the other group had 3 or less children (so called low children fathers). The men answered a 71 MMPI questionnaire privately (a personality test with 11 scales). Both groups of men were belonged to the normal population. Except for (F) scale there was no significant meaningful difference between them.
With attention to the (F) scale difference, and interpretation of other minor findings it can be concluded that high children fathers in relation to low children fathers are less flexible and more self ,centered and unstable.
