The Role of School Factors In School Phobia

School phobia is a kind of disorder experienced by some school students. Students experiencing school phobia dislike attending school, mainly because of their extreme anxiety when at school. The main cause of school phobia is related to environmental and educational factors at home and at school.

Among the factors playing an important role in the cause of school phobia factors such as the physical and environmental conditions of school, the relationships between school authorities and students, the student’s attitude towards school, the teachers’ attitudes towards students, and finally, the school and classroom atmosphere can be mentioned. The present study briefly discusses the effect of each of the above-mentioned factors in causing phobia.
